1.  There are lizards. Everywhere.

3.  This villa doesn't have AC
4.  The infinity pool is too salty
5.  Wait. No booze on Sunday?
6.  This view is making it hard for me to feel sorry for myself.
7.  This box of wine is too small.
8.  I'm still not tan enough.

CITTA DELLA PIEVE

I'm now in Citta Della Pieve, which is a quaint little town in Italy. I talked to B Thursday night and realized I was starting to feel homesick for my day to day routines, but am in better spirits as two other english girls my age are staying at the villa. It makes a world of difference having someone to talk to about really important things, like: who Marcus Mumford is dating and why Alexa and Alex broke up.

THAT WAS THEN

My sister came across this photo of us and it perfectly demonstrates the fact: we haven't changed much.

SEPTEMBER ISSUE

I am never intrigued by the life of celebrities or actors and couldn't care less about their daily happenings.  However, models, I can't get enough of.  I am always inspired by beautiful clothing and people, so naturally I was so excited to see my favorite model Freja Beha on the September cover of British Vogue.

DEVON

I'm in Devon, England right now.  We are staying in house that dates back to 1600 and is neighbored by a church and graveyard. Most of the headstones are so old they've either crumbled to bits or are worn smooth.  The weather is rather dreary, but I am enjoying it, as it reminds me of my summers spent on Camano Island. We head back to London on Thurdsay then off to Rome Friday morning.  I am excited for Italy, mainly because it means I get to be in one place for more than three days.

LONDAN

Some shots from Dan's visit.  I had sort of envisioned us hopping around London till the wee hours of the morning, but I was always home before midnight.  We ended up hanging around Notting Hill, went to the flea market, stopped for some Pimms&Lemonade, gossiped about Scott Davidson's new girlfriend... Same stuff different setting.

ATLAS MOUNTAINS OR: THE DAY I RODE A CAMEL

Megs loves this photo because she says I look as though I'm crawling out of hell.  She's sweet.

This was one of my favorite days in Morocco.  Megs and I were determined not to hire a guide for our hike but after half an hour or searching aimlessly and crossing through streams looking for signs of a trail we gave up and hired a native teenager. Megs and I also decided it was the perfect day for camel riding and while she snapped pictures and glided along joyfully all I could think about was the fact that I am uninsured, in Africa and on a nasty camel. Enjoy.

DANXLDN

I leave Morocco tomorrow and my sweet Dan will be greeting me at the airport for a couple of days in London before I head back to work.  He's studying art in Berlin and it just happened that our schedules coordinated, which was lucky because I've been missing my LA friends terribly.  We've come a long way from the floor beds and couches of summers past.  So stoked.

POOL DAY

Some shots from our pool day.  We found a great deal on a pretty swanky hotel and just lapped it up for the remainder of the trip.  The perfect ending.
